System Administrator – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Administrator – Level 3 to provide administrative support for Windows Server 2019 and 2022 environments, including Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Authorities and management of Windows 10/11 client systems. Additionally, the System Administrator – Level 3 will:

• Deploy and maintain robust cloud environments within AWS, while supporting existing on-premises server infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot various Linux distributions within AWS.
• Develop, implement and maintain automated scripts to streamline infrastructure provisioning.
• Conduct configuration management and deployment activities.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• AWS cloud resources (including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
• SaltStack, Ansible, Bash and Python
• Windows Server 2019 and 2022 environments
• Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL8/9, Amazon Linux 2023) within AWS

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT II Certificate

OR

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT II Certificate

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
