System Engineer – Level 2

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer (Level 2). The System Engineer will manage and maintain server infrastructure in a cloud environment. This includes working with users to analyze and formulate system requirements and conduct feasibility studies where applicable. Additionally, the System Engineer (Level 2) shall assist with design, development and integration activities, as well as develop and maintain technical documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• AWS cloud and on-premises
• Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9)
• Windows Server (2016/2022) systems
• Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
• Salt, BASH, Python, and Ansible

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, computer science, information systems, or related discipline and Fourteen (14) years of experience in system engineering programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT II Certificate

OR

• Nineteen (19) years of experience in system engineering programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT II Certificate

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
