Network Engineer – Level 2

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Network Engineer (Level 2) to perform network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. The Network Engineer (Level 2) will analyze design specifications; perform general LAN/CAN/WAN administration; optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management; as well as integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide ongoing maintenance support of network devices and interfaces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline and six (6) years of relevant professional experience providing network engineering support on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. 
• Certifications: IAT Level II and a Cisco Certified Network Associate

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and eight (8) years of relevant professional experience providing network engineering support on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.  

• Certification: Certifications: IAT Level II and a Cisco Certified Network Associate

OR

• Twelve (12) years of relevant professional experience providing network engineering support on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Certifications: IAT Level II and a Cisco Certified Network Associate

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
