System Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer (Level 3). The System Engineer will architect, deploy, and maintain robust cloud environments, primarily within AWS, while also supporting the existing on-premise server infrastructure.   ​​

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experienced with Windows environment (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2022).
• Experienced with various Linux distributions (cloud and on-premise).
• Experience with SaltStack.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (integration, operational stability).
• Knowledge of AWS cloud resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty-five (25) years of experience as a systems engineer on projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
