Information Technology Senior Consultant – Level 5

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Information Technology Senior Consultant (Level 5).  The candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance complex, large-scale software systems based on documented requirements. The candidate will work on intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems. The position requires strong problem-solving skills to guide technical design choices and ensure final products meet strict performance standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficient with React and JavaScript
• Proficient with Git/Gitlab
• Experienced with CI/CD
• Skilled with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes
• Experienced with Docker
• Provide Help Desk support, ticket handling/resolution using JIRA
• Skilled at reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
•  Experienced with providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of (COTS) and  (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experienced with Flux (FluxCD)
• Experienced with OAuth2 Proxy
• Knowledgeable with Jira and Confluence

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
