System Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer (Level 3).  The System Engineer will configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems; install and load operating system software; and configure network components to improve reliability and performance. Additionally, the System Engineer will provide support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with RedHat Linux.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Splunk.
• Experience with VMWare.
• Experienced performing Linux server administration.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty (25) years of experience as a system engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
