System Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer (Level 3).  The System Engineer will analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. The candidate will lead design and development activities, providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Additionally, the candidate will develop technical documentation to include architecture plans, system integration and test plans.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Linux environment.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with VMWare.
• Experience performing systems administration.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT-11 Certificate

OR

• Twenty (25) years of experience as a system engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT-11 Certificate

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
