System Engineer – Level 5

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer – Level 5. The System Engineer shall exercise management skills and provide engineering solutions for data flows. The candidate will elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps for implementing end-to-end data flows. The candidate will work as a key contributor in an agile development environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• NiFi experience; should understand flow file attributes.
• Possess knowledge of SIGINT collection and analysis.
• Experience with Military Cryptologic Offices; Military SIGINT architectures and related data flows.
• Familiar with data processing capabilities and system-to-system connections.
• Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira).
• Experience capturing requirements from external customers.
• Experience with the following data formats is desired: CSV, JSON, XML, PCAP.
• Understanding of tactical datalinks and command and control signals is desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualifying Engineering field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical, Engineering Management) or related discipline and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience as a system engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Nineteen (19) years of experience as a system engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
