System Administrator – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Administrator (Level 3). The System Administrator requires network experience to support a high priority malware analysis modernization program. The System Administrator will support a large development team developing, operating, and maintaining critical enterprise capabilities. Agile methodologies, DevOps principles and test-driven development practices will be applied.

*Position is full-time with locations in San Antonio, TX and FANX MD.

**Must have current poly (within 7 years); must possess minimum level PRIVAC (SYS1).

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Linux.
• Experience managing infrastructure users and hosts using RedHat FreeIPA identity management system.
• VMware experience managing ESXi hypervisors and VCenter appliances.
• Knowledge of BASH scripting.
• Experience with Kubernetes RKE2 clusters.
• Skilled at performing Cisco upgrades, applying patches, and optimizing networks.
• Experience with Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fifteen (15) years of systems administration experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty (20) years of systems administration experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
