Software Engineer – Level 2

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 2). The Software Engineer will analyze system requirements to form software design, performance expectations, and technical feasibility. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test and maintain software applications and enhance existing systems with new features and capabilities.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with JIRA and GitLab
• Proficient with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiar with AWS Cloud Security
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Eighteen (18) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
