Cloud Software Engineer – Level 4

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Cloud Software Engineer (Level 4).  The Cloud Software Engineer will research, recommend, and implement visualization tools for the administration, security, and finance teams. In addition, the Cloud Software Engineer will build new and improved existing CI/CD pipelines for testing, building, and releasing software applications. Duties further include developing full-stack web application interfaces with AWS services as an all-in-one support dashboard. This professional will be responsible for fostering a culture of technical excellence by writing clean, maintainable code, and staying current with modern web development best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Nodejs and/or Django.
• Experienced with Angular.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Git and GitLab.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Within the last one and a half (1.5) years, the candidate must possess experience programming in an object-oriented language. Furthermore, the candidate should have 7 years of experience with container technologies (such as Docker).
• Certificate:  IAT II

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
