Information Technology Senior Consultant – Level 5

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Information Technology Senior Consultant (Level 5).  The candidate shall be experienced with Active Directory and GPO Administration. This entails enterprise-level senior windows engineering specializing in Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security baselines, optimize configuration management, and define granular management scopes across domain and local environments. The candidate shall be knowledgeable on infrastructure automation–leveraging SaltStack to automate system deployment, streamline configuration management, and maintain state enforcement across hybrid infrastructure. Furthermore, the candidate will administer VMware environments to host, manage, and scale high-availability virtual machines, private clouds, and hybrid infrastructure.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience with Ansible & SALTStack
• Experience with PowerShell for task automation and configuration management
• Experience with managing secure computer environments
• Possess Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience to implement and maintain enterprise PAM platforms, securing privileged credentials, enforcing least-privilege access controls, and meeting compliance standards.
• Knowledge of VDI & App Virtualization

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Certification: IAT II, Active CompTIA Security+

OR

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus Fifteen (15) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Certification: IAT II, Active CompTIA Security+

OR

• Twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Certification: IAT II, Active CompTIA Security+

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
