Software Engineer – Level 1

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 1). The Software Engineer shall support the Cyber Intelligence Team which provides optimized intelligence collection processes. The Software Engineer will support an application that provides data visualization through Microsoft Power BI dashboards. The successful candidate will fulfill new data ingest requests, provide data extraction support, assist with vulnerability remediation, and participate in troubleshooting customer issues.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience working in a Linux environment and comfortable on a Windows environment
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash)
• Experience with container (Docker, Podman)
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server)
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Experience with Powershell is desired

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Eleven (11) years of related software engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
