Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning – Level 1

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer (Level 1). The engineer designs, creates, tests, and productizes Al/ML algorithms to solve business challenges. The Al/ML models they create should be capable of learning and making predictions as defined by the business logic developed to meet customer requirements. The Al/ML Engineer should be proficient in all aspects of model architecture, data pipeline interaction, and metrics application, interpretation, and presentation. The Al/ML Engineer needs familiarity with foundational concepts of application development, infrastructure management, data engineering, and data governance. Experience training, retraining, deploying, scheduling, monitoring, and improving models based on iterative user and system feedback is required to support designing and creating scalable solutions for optimal performance. The Al/ML Engineer may be responsible for leading geographically diverse teams and will often serve as a primary POC for Al-related matters, so must have exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience working in a Linux environment.

• Perform statistical analysis.
• Run machine learning algorithms.
• Experience in working with various ML libraries and packages.
• Experience training, retraining, deploying, scheduling, monitoring, and improving models based on iterative user and system feedback is required to support designing and creating scalable solutions for optimal performance.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages, e.g. Python, Java, C, R, is desired.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• OR
• Five (5) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
