Cloud Software Engineer – Level 1

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Cloud Software Engineer (Level 1). The Cloud Software Engineer shall provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Demonstrated ability to work with OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs (e.g. Hbase, Accumulo, Big Table).
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in software integration and software testing, to include developing and implementing test plans and test scripts.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, et cetera.

One of the following certifications is desired:

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate
• AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

• Two (2) years of experience as an engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
