Cloud Software Engineer – Level 1

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Cloud Software Engineer (Level 1). The candidate will implement secure and reliable software capabilities across cloud infrastructure environments. Candidate must be a self-motivated developer with strong attention to details who can work collaboratively or independently to meet customer requirements.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with one or more programming languages, e.g., Java, Python or C++.
• Experience working with Linux-based operating systems.
• Ability to work in Agile development team.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Certification in one of the following is desired:
• AWS Certified Developer-Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
• AWS DevOps Engineer-Professional
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

OR

• Four (4) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Certification in one of the following is desired:
• AWS Certified Developer-Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
• AWS DevOps Engineer-Professional
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
