Cloud Software Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Cloud Software Engineer (Level 3). The candidate will perform requirements analysis, software design, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. Additionally, the Cloud Software Engineer will evaluate project needs, determine tasks, and review designs for technical accuracy.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Software development expertise (includes requirements analysis).
• Experience in software testing and problem resolution.
• Able to evaluate project needs and perform tasking.
• Ability to determine solutions that meet capability, availability, and resilience.
• Communicate directions and guide junior programmer/analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eight (8) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Cloud Developer Certification (one of the following):
  • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • Elastic Certified Engineer

OR

• Twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Cloud Developer Certification:
  • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • Elastic Certified Engineer

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
