Cloud Software Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Cloud Software Engineer (Level 3). The candidate will support challenging analytic problems, including information overload, discovery, attribution, tracking and assessment. The candidate will develop an evolving suite of operational prototypes driven by state-of-the-art data science techniques for behavioral, geotemporal, social, and content analysis against full-scale collection in robust, flexible, and multitenant cloud environments.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum 1 year hands-on MLOps experience, including fine-tuning and operationalizing small ML models
• Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Pytorch, Keras, spaCy, GLiNER)
• Java, C++, Python, JavaScript
• Angular
• React
• Docker, Kubernetes
• AWS
• Bash
• Databases – Postgres, neo4j, click-house, accumulo, mongo-db, sql-lite, duckDB
• Operating Systems – Linux (RHEL 8), Windows.
• Experience working with LLMs.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in math, computer science, statistics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twelve (12) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
