Information Systems Security Engineer – Level 2

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) – Level 2. The candidate will play a key role in securing complex systems, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, and protect sensitive information.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Conduct vulnerability management using enterprise tools.
• Perform technical security assessments of large-scale cloud-based computing environments.
• Possess knowledge of IA standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Generate system/network designs that encompass multiple enclaves.
• Recommend system-level solutions to satisfy security requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fourteen (14) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Certification: CISSP is required.

OR

• Eighteen (18) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Certification: CISSP is required.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
