Information Technology Senior Consultant – Level 5

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Information Technology Senior Consultant (Level 5). The position requires strong network engineering knowledge and skills at designing, implementing, and securing large-scale, multi-site voice, data, and video infrastructures while leading complex projects and collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure network reliability.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Skilled at creating, planning and overseeing the implementation of voice, data, and video communication cable and hardware
• Knowledgeable with Dell networking devices
• Familiar with tools for monitoring network performance
• Experienced with resolving and mitigating voice, data, and video network issues across multiple domestic and international locations
• Ability to customize design and installation for unique customer requirements and based on industry standards
• Experienced with writing, updating, and standardizing documentation and procedures for systems, processes, and customers
• Knowledgeable of conducting site surveys and collecting customer requirements related to complex or unique network design, implementation and problem resolution efforts.
• Ability to design and implement network interconnection and integration based on customer, carrier and backbone network requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• CompTIA Security+ or similar certification for IAT Level II

OR

• Twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• CompTIA Security+ or similar certification for IAT Level II

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
