Information Technology Senior Consultant – Level 5

DESCRIPTION:

• Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Information Technology Senior Consultant (Level 5). The candidate must manage the project work as defined by the government.
• Leads medium to large complex projects
• Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have strong knowledge in software compilation, resolving errors, and managing dependencies within Git repositories
• Possess strong knowledge in storage protocols to include: Network File System (NFS), Common Internet File System (CIFS), Server Message Block (SMB), and Internet Small Computer System Interface) iSCSI
• Experience with VM deployment and configuration management using Puppet and Ansible
• Manage Active Directory synchronization and group authorization via customer tools (Python) in a helpdesk environment
• Monitor various automated tasks that run via scripting which need to be maintained in a GIT repos

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT I Certificate

OR

• Twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT I Certificate

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
