Software Engineer – Level 1

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 1). The Software Engineer shall become a member of a development effort using Java as the primary language. The candidate will use Agile methods to assign, track, and manage software activities and requirements within the team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Linux environment.
• Experience with Java.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Quarkus.
• Knowledge of PrimeFaces.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Eleven (11) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
