Software Engineer – Level 2

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 2). The Software Engineer shall analyze user and system requirements, so as to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. The Software Engineer shall be responsible for enhancing existing systems with new features and capabilities.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Java.
• Experience with Jira and GitLab.
• Proficient coordinating Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud Security.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Eighteen (18) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
