Software Engineer – Level 2

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 2). The Software Engineer shall analyze user and system requirements, so as to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. The Software Engineer will contribute to UI/UX improvements that enhance usability; participate in code reviews and testing; and support the evolution of a mature codebase while introducing modern front-end best practices.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with Redux.
• Familiar with advanced React concepts.
• Experience developing with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of modern UI/UX best practices and component-based architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Eighteen (18) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
