Software Engineer – Level 2 or 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 2 or Level 3). The Software Engineer will analyze and develop requirements to support the characterization and ingestion of new and existing data types. The Software Engineer will collaborate with customer teams to understand needs and requirements; and recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Java
• Familiar with Git and Gradle
• Familiar with Guice/Dependency Injection
• Knowledge of Docker
• Experience with ELK stack
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with Kubernetes

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Eighteen (18) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
