Software Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 3). The Software Engineer will analyze and develop requirements to support the characterization and ingestion of new and existing data types. The Software Engineer will collaborate with customer teams to understand needs and requirements; and recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong experience with LINUX.
• Experience with Java development.
• Understanding of AWS and cloud environment/infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting (Python).
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of GitLab and Maven.
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplinefrom an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty-four (24) yearsof experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
