Software Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer – Level 3.  The successful candidate shall focus on the development, deployment, and administration of complex systems using C++ or Python, Kubernetes, and GPU technologies. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our satellite communication systems, from development to deployment, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experienced with C++ or Python.
• Knowledge of GPU technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes; Kubernetes cluster design, deployment, and lifecycle management is desired.
• Familiarity with Helm.
• Knowledge of Rancher, RKE2 implementation.
• Experience with Worker node management, configuration and lifecycle automation is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and twenty (20) years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty-four (24) years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
