Software Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 3). The Software Engineer shall provide full-stack Java software development; engineer end-to-end serverless architectures utilizing the AWS ecosystem; and provide the overall design, development, and deployment of applications to meet the customers evolving needs.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Familiar with working in an Agile software environment.
• Ability to deliver full stack solutions within AWS cloud, utilizing API Gateway, PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD Orchestration (Jenkins, Github).
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence.
• Angular/Vue experience is desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of experience on a project of similar type, scope, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty-four (24) years of experience on a project of similar type, scope, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
