Software Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 3) who is a User Experience (UX) developer. The Software Engineer will join an experienced team working on efforts to modernize an existing data tracking and metrics system. The candidate will focus on developing highly usable end user interfaces, applying UI best practices and UX principles.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Linux environment.
• Must have UI/UX experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Knowledge of 508 Compliance.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty-four (24) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
