Software Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer – Level 3. The Software Engineer will implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture. The candidate will perform ongoing testing and code reviews, so as to improve software security. Additionally, the candidate shall generate technical documentation, consult with team members pertaining to coding practices, and develop new tools and best practices.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Demonstrated work experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products.
• Familiarity with developing software products for Solaris or Linux environments.
• Developer experience in Java, C, or C++.
• Demonstrated work experience developing RESTful services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty-four (24) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
