Software Engineer – Level 4

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 4). The Software Engineer applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases and keeps stakeholders informed. The Software Engineer is responsible for technical integrity, quality, and completeness of the work products—ensuring deliverables are met on time.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Possesses a strong understanding of enterprise services.
• Experience in service integration.
• Knowledge of Cloud Service provider offerings (AWS and Azure).
• Knowledge of Python, Java, and Bash scripting.
• Proficient in Kubernetes containerization, orchestration, and scaling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eight (8) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related disciplinefrom an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
