System Administrator – Level 3

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Administrator (SA) Level 3. The SA3 will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have extensive experience with VMWare/Linux
• Must be able to analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration
• Ability to configure and manage UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems and install/load operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
• Ability to manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
• Ability to provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Ability to provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems

QUALIFICATIONS:

System Administrator (SA) – Level 3

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fifteen (15) years of experience as a SA, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT II Certificate Required

OR

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SA, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT II Certificate Required

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
