System Engineer – Level 1 or Software Engineer – Level 1

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for either an experienced System Engineer (Level 1) OR an experienced Software Engineer (Level 1) for this effort. The candidate should possess strong Python skills and have some background in C++. Furthermore, the candidate shall have experience with GitLab and Docker. (Networking and SIGINT experience is also preferred.)

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Linux environment
• Experience with Python
• Programming language experience in C++
• Experience with GitLab
• Experience with Docker
• Networking and SIGINT experience is desired

QUALIFICATIONS:

For a SE Level 1:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and seven (7) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Twelve (12) years of experience as a system engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

For a SWE Level 1:

• • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university seven (7) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
    • Eleven (11) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
