System Engineer – Level 2

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer – Level 2. The System Engineer will outline, develop, and implement data engineering solutions. The candidate shall review customer-submitted requirements, perform end-to-end network systems engineering, and identify additional requirements necessary to meet mission needs. The candidate should have a strong background in Network Engineering and Systems Engineering, supporting activities involving the latest technologies in Cloud Operations.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in leading agile development models
• Knowledge of structured data types (XML, CSV, JSON)
• Hands-on experience with MySQL/NoSQL
• Expertise across network hardware and interconnections, including routers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fourteen (14) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Nineteen (19) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

*Certification required, preferably CISSP

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
