System Engineer – Level 2

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer (Level 2) support the full lifecycle development of our user outreach tools. The candidate will champion user-feedback-driven design, optimize software usability, and ensure the delivery of high-impact systems that directly meet user needs.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Mustache syntax and JavaScript
• Ability to perform end-to-end systems engineering in support of product teams using Agile development methods
• Experience performing product testing for usability and the process of improving software tools to maximize user experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in semi-structured situations, with the ability to identify support gaps and proactively get tasks done

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus fourteen (14) years of experience as an engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Nineteen (19) years of experience as an engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
