System Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer – Level 3 with experience in System Administration, Automation, Management, and Security Compliance. The System Engineer will focus on maintaining system integrity, performance, and security for critical client/server environments.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experienced with system administration skills for Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of Security Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching.
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Centify, Group Policy, Network Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and six (6) years of experience as a system engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. 

OR

• Ten (10) years of experience as a system engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
