System Engineer – Level 3

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer (Level 3). The System Engineer will be responsible for analyzing system requirements and lead design and development activities, as well as guide the users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. They will also be responsible for guiding system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Java development.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and ability to identify, analyze, and resolve automation issues.
• Experience working with databases (e.g., SQL).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplinefrom an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Twenty-four (24) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
