System Engineer – Level 4

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer – Level 4. The System Engineer shall possess Linux system administration experience to support a high-priority malware analysis modernization program. The System Engineer shall support development for existing systems in parallel with efforts to develop and deliver modernized cyber analysis, orchestration, and data enrichment products–applying Agile methodology, DevOps principles and test-driven development practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with VMware.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Mongo administration experience is desire.
• Experience architecting and deploying network solutions with Cisco products is desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualifying Engineering field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical, Engineering Management) or related discipline and ten (10) years of relevant experience as a system engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a system engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
