Systems Engineer – Level 2.5

DESCRIPTION:

Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced System Engineer (Level 2.5). The System Engineer will contribute to the development, integration and verification of systems ensuring alignment with architectures and operational requirements. The System Engineer will support technical documentation. The candidate will design and implement automated tests for web applications.

 REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with or exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools such as Cameo is ideal
• Manage system and derived requirements to guarantee production systems comply with established architecture standards (DoDAF, SOA, etc.)
• Establish verification methods, processes, and acceptance criteria in written plans to confirm system, subsystem, and work product compliance with requirements
• Break down high-level needs into detailed requirements, making sure each is complete, accurate, clear, achievable, and testable
• Draft chronological diagrams to map out time-sensitive workflows

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Seventeen (17) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
